Purpose
These terms govern the use of the AllBusinessGroups website (“ABG”), an independent platform listing business clubs, business groups, professional networks and similar professional organizations.
Using the site means accepting these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the service.
Access to the service
Browsing the directory is free and open, with no account.
Some features — asking to visit a group, leaving a review, listing an organization or a group, asking to take one over — require an account.
No paid service is marketed at this time.
Account
Creating an account requires providing accurate information and confirming your email address. An unconfirmed account cannot sign in.
You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for the actions carried out from your account. In the event of unauthorised use, tell us without delay through the contact form.
An account is personal. Creating an account in someone else's name, or impersonating them, is prohibited.
Organizations and groups
On ABG, a group is always attached to an organization: a network, a franchise or an independent club.
A profile may have been created by ABG from public sources; it is then marked as unclaimed. Listing implies no link, partnership or approval between ABG and the organization concerned.
Requesting the listing of an organization or a group creates no immediate right: the request is reviewed by the ABG team, which may accept it, refuse it or ask for further information. Permission to create groups is separate from the approval of an organization.
Taking over a profile and verification
Anyone who states that they may manage an organization or a group must show that they are entitled to. A document may be requested; it is used for that verification only, is never made public, and is deleted as soon as a decision is made (see the Privacy Policy).
ABG does not certify the authenticity of the documents provided: it assesses whether the applicant appears legitimate in the light of what has been submitted. A decision may be revisited if new facts emerge.
Falsely claiming to represent an organization is a serious breach of these terms.
Contributions and published information
You are responsible for the information you publish or send: its accuracy, its lawfulness, and respect for the rights of others.
You warrant that you hold the necessary rights over the content you provide, and you grant ABG the right to display it on the platform as part of the service.
ABG may edit, refuse or remove information that is manifestly inaccurate, misleading, unlawful or contrary to these terms.
Reviews
Reviews must be honest, personal and based on genuine experience. Bought or exchanged reviews, and reviews written by the group itself or by a competitor, are prohibited.
A published review is visible to everyone and shows the author name provided. ABG may refuse or remove a review that breaches these terms, without this amounting to a general obligation to monitor content.
Visit requests, invitations and events
A visit request is passed on to the group manager, who remains free to reply or not: ABG guarantees neither a reply nor access to a meeting.
Inviting a contact assumes that this person could reasonably expect to receive your message. Using this feature for unsolicited prospecting is prohibited.
Events and attendances are the responsibility of the group that organises them.
Prohibited uses
The following are prohibited in particular:
- impersonating a person or an organization;
- publishing unlawful, defamatory or insulting content, or content infringing the rights of others;
- using the service for unsolicited prospecting or mass messaging;
- attempting to access data or areas you are not entitled to;
- disrupting the operation of the site, circumventing its protections or introducing malicious software;
- creating automated accounts or multiplying accounts to get around a limitation or a decision.
Extraction and re-use of data
The extraction or re-use of a qualitatively or quantitatively substantial part of the directory's content is prohibited, in particular by automated harvesting (“scraping”), and especially where the purpose is to rebuild a competing directory, within the limits allowed by law.
Normal crawling by a search engine that respects the published rules obviously remains permitted.
Suspension and deletion
In the event of a breach of these terms, ABG may — depending on how serious it is — remove content, restrict a feature, suspend or delete an account, or remove a profile from the site. Where possible, the measure is preceded by notice.
You may ask for your account to be deleted at any time (see the Privacy Policy). Deleting an account does not delete organization or group profiles, which describe structures rather than people.
Availability of the service
ABG is a project under construction. The service is provided “as is”, with no guarantee of continuous availability, freedom from error or fitness for a particular purpose.
The site may be interrupted, changed or suspended at any time, in particular for maintenance. Features may appear, change or disappear.
Premium plan
Premium is not yet marketed. No subscription has been entered into to date and no payment is collected.
The features announced and the planned public price may still change until the commercial launch: they are indicative and do not constitute a contractual offer.
Any subscription will require Terms of Sale to be published first and the paid service to be actually opened.
Founders Offer
By way of exception to the above, AllBusinessGroups undertakes to offer the first 100 eligible beneficiaries that have registered their interest, when Premium is commercially launched, the Founder rate of 15 € excluding tax per month and per group for 36 months.
A Founder place belongs to a beneficiary, identified by their work email address — not to a group. A beneficiary who manages several groups takes up only one place.
This undertaking assumes that the following conditions are met:
- the beneficiary is among the first 100 selected, in the order in which expressions of interest were recorded;
- the subscription is taken out with the same work email address as the one used when registering interest;
- the beneficiary actually subscribes to Premium when the offer becomes available.
The Founder rate applies to each of the groups the beneficiary manages at the time of subscription, billed individually: it is not a single package covering all of their groups. Groups added after that subscription do not automatically benefit from the Founder rate.
Registering interest is itself free of charge. It triggers no payment, is not a subscription and requires no card details. The beneficiary may give it up at any time, which ends the benefit of the offer; however, choosing to stop receiving information about Premium does not amount to giving up the offer.
AllBusinessGroups keeps, for as long as is necessary to honour this undertaking, the order of registration, the work email address given and the date interest was registered.
Liability
ABG uses reasonable means to provide a reliable service, without any obligation to achieve a specific result.
ABG is neither the organiser, nor a member, nor a guarantor of the clubs and networks listed. The relationships you build with them are a matter between you and them alone. ABG is not answerable for information provided by organizations, groups or users.
ABG cannot be held liable for indirect damage. Nothing in these terms is intended to exclude liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, in particular in the event of gross negligence or personal injury.
Intellectual property
The name AllBusinessGroups, its visual identity, the texts written by ABG, the interface, the developments and the database are protected. The trademarks and logos of the listed organizations belong to their respective owners.
Nothing in these terms transfers to you any intellectual property right over the service.
Personal data
The processing of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy, which forms an integral part of these terms.
Changes to the terms
These terms may be amended, in particular to reflect changes in the service or in the applicable rules. The date of the last update appears at the bottom of this document.
In the event of a significant change, users are informed on the site. Continuing to use the service after that information means accepting the amended terms.
Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by French law.
If a difficulty arises, please contact us first through the contact form: most situations are settled that way. Failing an amicable agreement, the dispute falls within the jurisdiction of the competent French courts. Protective provisions applicable to consumers, including recourse to mediation, remain reserved.
